You can go to these sites and enter information for your packages such as dimensions,weight, and date you want it to arrive and get the cost to ship. In some instances, a shipping label can be placed online and you can schedule for pick up services at your home online as well.

All the sites have a similar procedure for creating a shipment label. You go on the site, enter the size and weight of your package, pay by credit card, print and download your label from the website. In the past, when I have used the US Postal Service site to print labels, I printed it as a pdf file first and stored it on the computer and then printed it from the saved file. I do this just in case the label does not print correctly, my Internet service went down, or I have to take it to some other place to print it. If you don't have a printer that lets you print pdf files, you can get a free product from these sites. The products I use are CutePDF Writer (Here) or PDF Creator(Here). • If you would like to keep track of your shipments, you have to create an account. If not, you can pay for a one time shipment with a credit card. This option does not allow you to go back and look at your shipment information. When you go to the site, look for the purple squares that say continue. The company also offers pickup services

• You do not have to register on the website to calculate postage. You do have to register to create a shipment label.

If you do not know which company to use and would like to get the lowest rates for your shipment, you can use the tool on this website to compare teh costs of shipment for USPS, Fed Ex, or UPS. The site lets you enter the weight of the package and the ship to and ship from zipcodes. Using this information, it generates at able of costs that shows you how much it would cost to ship the package under different shipping categories like Ground, Three Days, Two Days, Next Day, Same Day. To be certain that you get the most up to date information, make sure you go to the websites for the company you want to use and get the shipping rates and labels through their sites.
